This self-guided Friedrichshain scavenger hunt uses 16 sealed envelopes to lead you through Berlin’s old slaughterhouse district, Samariterkirche, Boxhagener Platz, Oberbaumbrücke, East Side Gallery, and Volkspark Friedrichshain. Plan for about six hours, roughly 12 kilometers, and bring comfortable shoes. There is no guide, so you set the pace and can pause or continue another day.
Meet your German-speaking game master at Koppenplatz and use an iPad to solve a citywide mystery in Berlin Mitte. You will crack codes, study architecture, chat with your game master, and race between clues over two hours. Wear good shoes, expect German, and prepare for a fair amount of walking outdoors.
At EXIT Berlin, you get two hours of private escape-room, virtual-reality, family, or outdoor gaming at Friedrichstrasse 101. Choose an English or German experience for up to four people, receive an introduction, play your selected challenge, and finish with a group picture. The venue is open daily and wheelchair accessible.
